The Vaud Cantonal Wrestling Festival will take place on 27 and 28 June 2026 in Poliez-Pittet. This major event in the cantonal sporting calendar celebrates wrestling, a traditional discipline deeply rooted in Swiss cultural heritage. Over two days

For two days, the best wrestlers from the canton and the region will compete in a festive and convivial atmosphere, bringing together fans, families and curious onlookers for high-level sporting competitions.

Beyond the competitions on the sawdust, the festival is also a moment of encounter and exchange, celebrating the values of respect, tradition and sportsmanship that characterise Swiss wrestling.

Saturday, 27 June
8.30 a.m. – Call of the wrestlers
9 a.m. – Start of the fights
3.30 p.m. – Start of the finals per category
In the evening – After-work drinks and broadcast of the football match (World Cup)

Sunday, 28 June
8.30 a.m. – Call of the wrestlers
9 a.m. – Start of the fights
3:00 p.m. – Official part
4:30 p.m. – Stone throwing
