Jorat Nature Park
The Jorat Nature Park covers an area of 9.3 km² in the heart of the Jorat Woods. It was officially opened on 25 May 2024 at Montheron Abbey. It is the first peri-urban nature park in French-speaking Switzerland. A precious haven for biodiversity on the outskirts of Lausanne!
A wide range of activities are on offer in the Jorat Nature Park: themed walks, footpaths, horse riding trails, cycle rides, summer camps, forest bathing, trail running, talks and workshops.
The best way to explore the Jorat Nature Park is on foot, thanks to an extensive network of footpaths that allow you to explore the forested area.
Access:
The Jorat Nature Park is easily accessible by public transport from Lausanne and the Broye region via the Chalet-à-Gobet stop.
By car, you can park at Chalet-à-Gobet or Montheron.
