The aim of the ‘Association de l’Espace culturel Assens’ is to provide a platform for contemporary artistic expression. The magnificent, restored farmhouse houses the gallery: a venue for socialising and events, designed to spark and satisfy the interest and curiosity of its many visitors.

Within the walls of its gallery, the cultural association ‘Espace culturel Assens’ has been exhibiting both established and recognised artists as well as promising emerging artists since 1998. The exhibitions held within the gallery can be complemented by artistic walks through the surrounding countryside. The gallery also organises concerts, theatre performances, literary evenings, workshops and other talks and discussions that take their cue from the world of art, transcend its boundaries and cover all aspects of our society.

The Espace culturel Assens is a non-profit association with over 120 members from all walks of life who support its projects and wish to help promote the arts far beyond the Gros-de-Vaud region.
