In the heart of the Plateau du Jorat stands the imposing antenna of the national transmitter at Sottens.

World-renowned for its international broadcasts, Radio Sottens went off the air at 11.59pm on 5 December 2010. Since 2015, Gecko Sensations has been offering you the chance to discover this listed monument steeped in history in a whole new way. It's a unique attraction in Switzerland that you can experience over and over again.

Through an assortment of stories, thrills, fun, local gastronomy and superb panoramas, the Gecko Sensations team gives you an experience charged with pure emotion.

Climb the 125m-high pylon at your own pace and discover the breathtaking views over the region, from the Alps to the Jura.

Your ascent will be punctuated by anecdotes and tastings of local specialities, depending on the option you choose. And on the way down, a spider-wire abseil back to the cow floor.

Several options are available to ensure that this experience matches your wishes and abilities as closely as possible.

The centre is open from May to October.
