Chemin des Blés
Starting from Echallens, around 15 kilometres from Lausanne, the Chemin des Blés is a signposted educational trail covering around 100 kilometres. The Chemin des Blés winds its way through fields and forests, with the Alps and the Jura providing a stunning backdrop.
Discover its landscapes and villages, where farmers rear their livestock and grow wheat and potatoes. Holiday cottages and restaurants await you in this natural corner of the Canton of Vaud.
Nine themed sites tell the story of our region’s landscape. Serving as landmarks, rest stops and picnic spots, they are dotted along the route. You’ll find them in the villages or in the surrounding area. Each village also has a village information point providing details on its history and architecture, as well as options for circular walks around the village.
Accessible on foot or by bike, Le Chemin des Blés can be explored in all seasons.
