Accessible Nature Trail

HandiCap et Nature offers a forest walking trail featuring observation points and exercise stations equipped for people with disabilities and their carers.
The route stretches for 5 km between the villages of Villars-Tiercelin, Corcelles-le-Jorat and Peney-le-Jorat. It features a gradient of no more than 6 per cent, which is the maximum gradient suitable for wheelchair users.

In terms of scenery, the trail passes through a wide variety of woodland and offers views of both the Jura mountain range and the Pre-Alps.

The opportunity to visit part of the Villars-Tiercelin arboretum adds an interesting educational element. Other features, such as a pond or the crossing of a stream near its source, can also be highlighted.
To allow wheelchairs to pass each other or cross paths, decking has been laid along the forest paths every 50 to 100 metres, depending on the terrain. At the entrance to the HandiCap and Nature trail, there are car parks where you can park with ease, as well as fully equipped toilet facilities.

Open all year round. Free admission. Wheelchair accessible.

Head towards Chalet-à-gobet, then take the Route des Paysans and follow the signs. GPS coordinates: 54 56 15 / 16 28 77
