The Elany Trio brings together Luc Baba’s sensitive writing with the musical world of Hélène Weissenbacher and Axel Bernolin. Luc Baba, the multi-award-winning

author from Liège, spent many years performing songs by Brel, Brassens and Ferré before taking to the stage with his own lyrics. At his side, Strasbourg-born composer and pianist Hélène Weissenbacher provides subtle and inspired arrangements. Finally, musician Axel Bernolin brings all his sensitivity to the double bass, enriching the pieces with a subtle and warm-hearted performance shaped by his wide-ranging experience in the world of French-language chanson.

Together, they form a trio carried by the voice, the words and a wealth of musical expression.
